Term - Pottery Wheel - 4 Weeks

Our upcoming short course will give you a taste of the pottery wheel and all that goes into making a collection of ceramic vessels. You will be guided in making simple forms as well as exploring decorative techniques such as paint and transfer patterns, and how to glaze your pieces to prepare them for firing. These four sessions will run across 5 weeks, with a week off between the third and fourth session to allow your items to be fully dried and fired before glazing.
Our next focus will be on making items for the kitchen! Choose your favourite items to work on out of these options - Berry bowl/colander, sugar pots, jugs, garlic graters, utensil holders and more!
